We are fully committed to reducing our environmental impact by making informed choices about papers, processes and packaging. Our aim is to be 100% recyclable and environmental friendly and we're nearly there.
Made in the UK We live on Dartmoor and most of our customers are from the UK. To minimise our carbon footprint, we support the use of British products. All our products are printed in the UK. Our environmentally friendly envelopes and biodegradable display bags made of corn/potato starch are also made in the UK.
Greeting cards Our cards are printed on FSC accredited mix boards from sustainable sources. We do not use foil, glitter or plastic on our cards which ensures they remain fully biodegradable and recyclable.
Art prints Our art prints are printed on a heavy weight, 100% cotton rag based paper. Cotton rag is superior in both strength and durability to wood pulp-based papers. Cotton is a particularly environmentally-friendly, sustainable resource.
Envelopes Our recycled envelopes are made from 100% post-consumer waste. Our white envelopes are made from FSC accredited mix board from fully sustainable sources which are both biodegradable and recyclable.
Display bags Online orders of individual cards are not usually dispatched in display bags. Sets of cards are held together with a brown paper strip; however, if you would prefer your cards or sets of cards to be packaged in bio-film display bags, please add a note to your order when checking out. Where used, display bags are transparent bio-film made from annually renewable corn/potato starch which is both biodegradable and compostable.
Reuse! We like to re-use packaging so you may sometimes find that your orders will be protected with re-used materials and packaging that we have been sent! Any other orders will be dispatched in recycled and recyclable packaging. Recycle! We make sure that everything we make can be easily recycled, not that you will ever want to throw any of them away! Please be responsible. As an organisation, we minimise our waste by reducing, reusing and recycling wherever we can. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our environmental practices.
