We are a small, family-run business with lots of experience in and out of the design industry, in and out of teaching and in and out of the real world! We live, work and walk every day in the beautiful Dartmoor countryside, surrounded by nature, cream teas and muddy boots.

The creation of Stable House Studios is the realisation of a personal dream for artist Jo. Since childhood, she has dabbled in using art to spread positivity, a sense of worth and personal well-being. We love that a card can be used so easily as a gesture of friendship, to reinforce connections between you and the recipient and to make that person feel valued.

We are passionate about the amazing world we live in, its beauty, its fragility and our shared responsibility to look after it. Much of our artwork is directly inspired by nature which is, indisputably, the greatest work of art of all!
